The casino at Horseshoe Baltimore Maryland Casino remains open, but all dining establishments in the building, as well as the entire city, are closed. The casino also is restricted to 25 percent capacity – down from the previous 50 percent. Questioned why casinos were allowed to remain open while restaurant dining was halted, newly sworn-in Mayor Brandon Scott said suspending food and drink service for gamblers should eliminate reasons for them to remove their masks. Part of his first executive order, Scott’s tightened restrictions also include capacity limits of 25 percent for retail and religious institutions, gyms, malls and museums. While outdoor, as well as indoor, dining is shut down, restaurants still will be able to offer carryout, drive-thru and delivery service. In the casino, water will be provided for medical purposes only, but guests are permitted to bring in their own non-alcoholic bottled beverages. The closings and other restrictions do not have an end date.
After 4 months, Horseshoe Baltimore opened the same way it closed 4 months prior. With broken slot machines, and empty tables because they can't keep dealers on staff! For you 'regulars' out there, if you're expecting to see anything different, you're going to be.
